The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. 

As an owner of a business with a 21-year successful track record in the commercial security systems technology sector, I was acutely aware how important good quality information was to the decisions that I made. That is why in 2014 I also formed Silk Business Solutions, a boutique bookkeeping and administration business focused on helping other small business owners, just like myself, do what they do best, delivering their products and services, whilst I make sure that the business remains financially sound and the business owner has quality information to base their decisions upon.

As well as the University of life course providing this 21-year apprenticeship of actually running a business, I have supplemented this practical and pragmatic approach with study at Auckland University from where I graduated with a Master of Management degree. This understanding of theory coupled with years at the coal face allow me a unique perspective to help my clients become more effective in driving their business forward.

I live in Auckland and love to stay fit by running, swimming, and cycling. I have participated in many triathlons and half and full marathons; a highlight was participating in the New York Marathon in 2017. I have recently become a grandmother and have the joy of my life in Gracie.
